Mechanical Engineering Graduate Scheme
Our 2-year Mechanical Engineering Graduate scheme offers the opportunity to explore unique engineering challenges through some of the biggest engineering projects in the UK. Rotating across different placements, you’ll gain a broad perspective of the railway and understand the processes, products and systems that make it function.
Civil Engineering Summer Placement
Based at one of our major hubs, you’ll see what goes into keeping our railways running. From day one, you’ll get hands on engineering experience, develop new skills and contribute to big infrastructure projects, all whilst being supported by former graduates.
Operations Management Graduate Scheme
During our 18-month Operations Management Graduate Scheme, you’ll learn all about what is takes to delivery the operational railway we know today, including stations, signalling, control and incident response. Explore our relationships with train and freight companies, the British Transport Police and the emergency services to understand what goes into delivering a good experience.
Project Management Graduate Scheme
Our 2-year Project Management Graduate scheme gives you the opportunity to work on a portfolio of meaningful projects across our business. Through internal placements, developing your understanding, and building new skills, you’ll gain exposure to our business functions and even undertake addition training and qualifications.
Network Strategy, Planning and Analysis Graduate Scheme
Our 2-year Network Strategy, Planning and Analysis Graduate scheme will see you tackling major strategic challenges the rail industry faces. Gain a rounded view of the railway network and understand how the problems we face affect the work I do. With support from experienced mentors, you’ll play an important part in finding solutions that matter.
